Wow! Time sure flies during the summer. It has been over a month since our last post, so here is a brief overview of what we have been up to since then:
We have stayed busy with things such as:
- Summer BLAST (I led the singing for this VBS-like week at a local mobile home park).
- Deacon meetings and visitations (Matt was recently chosen as a deacon at our church).
- Keeping up with our dog Bailey who seems to have made it her mission to dig in every single one of my flower beds...grrrr!
- Beginning and finishing other projects in our yard.
- And watching the Olympics (a lot).
And:
Watching "the boys". I have had a couple chances to babysit Finn and Milo, the boys that I watch 3 days per week during the school year. We have had tons of fun playing in the sprinkler and pool.
We spent a week and a half camping at Gun Lake. The lake was closed the entire week due to high ecoli levels. We spent our time reading, relaxing in the shade, playing with our nieces, tubing behind the boat, and taking boat rides.
We also celebrated our four-year anniversary on July 25. God has greatly blessed us with four wonderful years of marriage and we pray that He blesses us with many more.
